Til Til D.F

Til Til D.F. has as aim the development of a diverse program in an open space –as a meeting place for recreational and cultural activities, by merging with the topography and the landscape of the location. Based on methodologies of parametric design, it is possible to determine the relevant variables in the project and to establish relations among them, in order to streamline its formulation and implementation processes. The first step was the parametric division of the land, allowing the flexibility to evaluate solutions in relation to the program. This was separated into stripes that define areas of frequent use, occasional use and those of services. Each strip defines its size in relation to its destined program, so the height increases for those programs that require more area. Thus, the volumetric definition of the project reveals the relations between the activities, dimensions and the surroundings. Each volume has a crystal and steel structure that maximizes the visibility and the connection among the interior, the topography and the natural landscape. This integration is complemented with vegetal covers that allow the camouflage with the surroundings. In this way, the field is used to promote the recreation and enjoyment in a space that emphasizes the natural features of the surroundings, through the selected elements of manufacturing for this project.
